China of the Chinese, China of Memories. Second meeting

The meeting follows an initial discussion with students held in November 2024 (events section). It involved the participation of students from the University of Turin, who are already engaged in the project “Proposals for Innovative Teaching in Chinese Language and Culture Studies: From Geography Education to Language Teaching from an Intercultural Perspective.” Professors Tanina Zappone, Stefania Stafutti, and Barbara Leonesi first presented the materials already collected as part of the “Chinese Geographies” activity, which are available in the “Chinese Geographies” gallery. A new activity was then proposed, aimed at collecting videos, interviews, photographs, and memories related to China from the Chinese community of the city of Turin. The results of this activity are available in the “Geographies of Memory” section.
